Hello! My name is Dev and this is my non-profit foundation PortableShelterForAll. Our goal is to provide affordable and portable shelters capable of offering relief to those in need of it.
After viewing the devastating reality of slum life while traveling abroad in Bangkok and Mumbai. I was deeply moved to design a dwelling which is cost effective, portable, insulating, and also structurally efficient. I set out on my mission to discover a solution to this dilemma.
What I have developed is an insulated, solar energy capturing, safe, and portable shelter costing under $250 to build using material that is commercially available in hardware stores. In our everlasting effort to make this widely available, my instructions are free for anyone who inquires to use to copy for a philanthropic non-commercial use.
